My wife has been telling me for years that I should write a blog. Since I am now at a point in my life where I have the time to write and share some of my thoughts, I’ve decided to take her advice.
I’m a retired personal financial adviser. For 25 years, I was an independent contractor with Ameriprise Financial and ran a successful financial planning practice. I retired in March of 2016. In my previous careers, I was a Seventh-day Adventist pastor, as well as an independent business consultant and chaplain.
I retired for health reasons. I’ve lived with migraines since childhood. Starting in July of 1994, these changed into chronic daily migraines. I battled them for 22 years, while loving my work in serving my clients’ financial aspirations. In early 2016 I finally decided I could no longer do both.
I hope you’ll visit my site often and more importantly, I hope you’ll comment and let me know your thoughts as well.
Thanks for visiting today.
